Here is an idea of what had happened a couple of weeks before I left Paris then Kuwait and came to Dhaka...I had posted a note on my facebook profile and asked friends to spread the word whenever they could about a bracelet donation from Western and Arabic women to Bangali borrowers here in Grameen. And happily enough, it did work, I was able to collect from generous young women around 90 bracelets...as a sign of solidarity and recognition
